Design and pretreatment of cleaning system for grain cleaning and stone removal equipment

Grain cleaning equipment is widely used in grain silo systems to remove granular, powdered or powdery dust from grain, corn, soybeans, wheat, rice or bulk materials in grain storage silos, bulk storage systems, food processing plants or feed production lines. Grain cleaning and stone removal equipment is mostly composed of Dust collector, blower, filter cleaning system and dust removal system. Single, double and low pressure pulse precipitators are commonly used as grain cleaners.

Cleaning system design principle: 1. First eliminate impurities that pose a significant health and safety risk, - ferrous metal (dust explosion hazard), - grain dust (explosion hazard, health/safety hazard); 2. Eliminate impurities that will affect the downstream efficiency of the machine - light bran and dust (large, poor flow characteristics, reduce screening efficiency).

Benefits of pre-cleaning: reduced risk of infestation, improved hygiene and dust control, reduced microbial growth, improved grain flow through the silo, extended grain storage life.
